The Open Country RT tire was designed to be more aggressive than the new Open Country MT when driving off-road, while having a quieter side when on the pavement like the Open Country AT II Tire. Jeeps, Trucks and SUV's and crossover vehicles will have the benefit of three-ply polyester casing that multiplies the total tire strength for a boost in air-downed off-road applications or for carrying heavy loads.
