A silica-enhanced tread compound is molded into the Scorpion ATR all-terrain tires, symmetric tread pattern. The internal structure of the Scorpion ATR is made of twin steel belts made stronger by a spirally-wrapped nylon cord. This backs the tread area and offers high-speed control and confident handling. Enhanced steering response and directional stability is provided by the tire’s continuous center rib and large shoulder tread blocks. In the center tread area, interlocked independent tread blocks offer on-road and off-road acoustic comfort. When it comes to loose surfaces and winter conditions, the siped independent tread blocks give extra biting edges that improve the Pirelli Scorpion ATR tire’s off-road grip.
A versatile and safe tire, the Scorpion ATR features a tread with a specific self-cleaning pattern. It facilitates the most demanding off-road driving and resists the hardest shocks on uneven surfaces. Once back on the road it provides safety when braking and whilst cornering.
